FAQs

Fees help pay for things like our ticket-selling software, website maintenance, and employee labor. We do our best to keep this fee as low as possible. Sometimes, promoters will add a fee in addition to our standard fee.

After the order is complete, you will receive a confirmation email within an hour of your transaction. Check your spam folder if you did not receive the email(s). If you have questions regarding your online purchase, please contact the box office at 252-586-3124 or email: boxoffice@theacornlive.com

Refunds are not offered on tickets unless the show is canceled due to inclement weather or artist's illness. If the show is canceled, your ticket purchase will automatically be refunded to your method of payment. If you used cash or check as a payment method, you will receive an Acorn Center check in the mail.

All patrons, including babes-in-arms, must have a ticket to enter our theatre. Every event promoter has a different policy; at times babes-in-arms are charged a full ticket price, while other times they are free (but still require a ticket.) We require everyone entering the building to have a ticket so that we know how many people are in the building for capacity issues or if an emergency occurs. Please call the box office if you have specific questions regarding this policy: 252-586-3124.

It's your choice! E-tickets are available via email for most shows; tickets can also be picked up at the box office.

Don't worry! Regardless of how they disappear, we can reprint tickets free of charge. Reprinted tickets can't be mailed, but you can pick them up the night of the show at the box office with photo ID.

If you accidentally left your tickets at home, please visit the Acorn Center Box Office to request a reprint. Be sure to present a photo ID and, if you know it, please give the Box Office your order number. But don't worry – we can still print them for you without the order number.

Don't do it! The Acorn Center Box Office and www.theacornlive.com are the only authorized outlets for tickets to events held in our venues. We use E-Tix ticketing system.

We DO NOT accept tickets sold on a secondary market.

We reserve the right to decline entry if you are not the original ticket buyer.

Other ticketing sites usually increase the fees, and in some cases, you may end up with a fake ticket.

If you purchase a ticket from a third party/secondary market, keep in mind it is at your own risk. Buying from us ensures you get your ticket at face value, and more importantly, get to see the show you intended to see.

Side note: The Acorn Center does not condone the unfair and misleading practices of ticket scalpers who profit at the expense of true fans. To make sure our patrons get the absolute best prices, we do reserve the right to refuse a sale to anyone we think is a third-party vendor, scalper, or ticket broker. Ticket orders found to be in violation of the Acorn Center's reselling policies will be canceled.

We are located at 411 Mosby Avenue, Littleton, NC.

If anyone is ruining the fun please contact an Acorn Manager (located in the lobby during the show), an usher, or a Concessions Staff Member as soon as possible. They will handle the situation.

Unfortunately, for most events, you cannot. We want each and every performance to be an amazing experience for all those involved, including our artists. Recording devices tend to get in the way and are a distraction to people in their seats and on the stage, and in some cases, are prohibited at the artists' request. You can, however, take photos in our lobby.

Yes! For most events, food and drink from our concessions stands and alcoholic beverages are allowed inside the venues. We serve a variety of soft drinks, wine, and liquor. No outside food or drink is allowed.

Certain events require that late-arriving audience members be asked to wait in the lobby until they can be seated during a performance break.

Please contact the Box Office at 252-586-3124 if you have lost items at the Acorn Center. If you find an item, please hand it to a Manager (located in the lobby) or take it to the concession stand.

Yes, we have on-site security for all shows. Your bags are subject to search upon entry. No weapons, including knives, are allowed at our venue.

Yes, for most events you are welcome to carry a bag, purse, or backpack up to 18" into the venue. Please leave any larger items in your car. To ensure the safety of all patrons, we reserve the right to inspect any item regardless of size. Coolers and tailgating at events are never allowed.
