THE ACORN ANNOUNCES 2025 SEASON & CELEBRATES COMMUNITY IMPACT WITH FESTIVE DECEMBER LINEUP

The Acorn, a vibrant nonprofit arts and cultural center in Littleton, NC, is thrilled to announce its dynamic 2025 season while celebrating a December filled with holiday magic and community spirit.

"2025 represents more than just concerts at The Acorn," says General Manager Elizabeth Branham. "As a nonprofit organization, we're expanding our mission to include more educational classes, family-friendly community events, and specialized programming for children. We're building on our foundation of bringing exceptional entertainment to create a true cultural hub for our community."

Before launching into 2025, The Acorn presents a spectacular lineup of holiday performances:

• December 10: Tar River Swing

• December 13: Elvis Christmas featuring Matt Lewis

• December 14: Lakeland Cultural Arts Community's Lake Gaston Christmas Cantata

• December 15:  Cookies with Santa - a free event for children and families.

• December 20-22: Jessica Lynn's Very Merry Classic Christmas, showcasing over 175 local students and performers from:

  - Tiffany's Dance Studio

  - Crystal's Elite Dance Studio

  - The Concrete Rose Dance Academy

  - The Alternative

  - Hope's School of Dance

  - Littleton Academy

  - Warren County Band

  - Gilbert Avent & Avent G Production

Community engagement remains at the heart of The Acorn's mission. The venue proudly serves as an official U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots drop-off location, with all donations staying within the local community. Representatives from Toys for Tots will be present on December 20-22 to collect donations during the Jessica Lynn Christmas shows.  Additionally, The Acorn will serve as an official mail drop for the North Pole with a giant mailbox on site where children can bring their letters to Santa.

Through our "Share the Joy Campaign," The Acorn is partnering with local organizations to give back to the community during the holidays. When purchasing tickets to the Christmas shows, patrons can use special codes available from Distinguished Young Women of the Roanoke Valley, Arcola Fire Department, Greater Littleton Development Organization, John 3:16 Center, Lake Gaston Chamber, Roanoke Valley Chamber, Lake Gaston and Littleton Lions Clubs, Littleton Academy, and Littleton Woman's Club. For each ticket purchased using an organization's unique code, The Acorn will donate $5 to that organization. Contact these organizations directly to receive their special code and support their missions while enjoying great entertainment.

The Acorn's commitment to community support extends beyond the holiday season. Recently, the organization raised over $13,000 for Western North Carolina communities impacted by Hurricane Helene, demonstrating its dedication to helping neighbors in need.
