The Acorn Center Partners with Functional Nutritional Practitioner to Launch "Evolve Strong" Wellness Program

The Acorn Center is expanding its mission to enrich the community by partnering with board-certified Functional Nutritional Practitioner Tammy Deloatch to offer "Evolve Strong with Tammy Deloatch," a comprehensive wellness program launching this fall.

The four-week series will meet Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at The Acorn, combining group personal training with functional nutritional coaching for $170. Each session includes group personal training, functional nutritional coaching, weekly progress follow-ups, and coaching journal reviews.

"This is my next chapter," said Deloatch, who recently sold New Day Fitness in Roanoke Rapids to her daughter after years of building the business. "I really want to help empower individuals to achieve their wellness goals. As we age, our bodies change, and it becomes increasingly important to focus on proper nutrition and movement. These classes are designed for anyone seeking to improve their gut health, sleep quality, and mental stability while building strength and resilience."

Deloatch brings exceptional credentials to the partnership. In addition to being a board-certified Functional Nutritional Practitioner, she recently completed the Lifestyle and Wellness Coaching Executive Education program at Harvard Medical School. With 40 years of experience as a Certified Personal Trainer, she has dedicated her career to empowering individuals to achieve their wellness goals.

"I'd love to collaborate with participants to unlock their full potential and transform their lives through personalized nutritional coaching and training," Deloatch added. "Witnessing the profound impact this approach has on my clients' lives is truly fulfilling, and I'm eager to help people embark on their journey to enhanced overall health and wellbeing."

The program represents an exciting expansion for The Acorn Center, which has traditionally focused on performing arts programming. Elizabeth Branham, General Manager at The Acorn, sees the wellness series as a natural extension of the organization's community mission.

"These classes align perfectly with our vision and mission here at The Acorn," said Branham. "While we're known as a nonprofit dedicated to enriching the Littleton and Lake Gaston community through our premier performing arts venue and diverse, family-friendly events, this partnership allows us to support community wellness in a new and meaningful way. We anticipate this program selling out quickly and plan to continue offering programs such as this in our Actor's Studio, which is perfect for these kinds of classes."

Registration for "Evolve Strong with Tammy Deloatch" is now open on The Acorn's website. Given the personalized nature of the program and limited class size, interested participants are encouraged to register early at:  www.theacornlive.com/events or by calling the box office at 252-586-3124.
